Indonesian Envoy Meets With Newly-Elected Serbian Parliamentary C

London ( Berita ) :  Indonesian Ambassador to Serbia Muhammad Dalimunthe has paid a courtesy call on newly-elected Serbian Parliamentary Chief Slavica Djukic Dejanovic at the Serbian National Parliamentary building.

The Indonesian envoy’s visit was aimed not only at introducing himself to the newly-elected parliamentary chief but also at building communication to develop bilateral relations between the two countries, spokesperson for the Indonesian embassy in Belgrade Ance Maylany said in a statement on Monday.

During the visit, Ambassador Dalimunthe congratulated Dejanovic on her being appointed to the post, the statement said. The ambassador also conveyed a congratulatory message from Indonesian House Speaker Agung Laksono to Dejanovic, it said. Ance Maylany said Dejanovic expressed gratitude to her Indonesian counterpart for the congratulatory message. ( ant )
